Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children
Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children is one of the nation’s leading pediatric centers for the treatment of orthopedic conditions, certain related neurological disorders, and specific learning disabilities such as dyslexia. Currently, the hospital provides ongoing care for more than 13,000 children challenged by conditions such as scoliosis, dislocated hip, clubfoot, limb-length differences, amputations, Legg-Perthes, arthritis, and spina bifida. The Handwriting Clinic
The clinic offers print and cursive classes, pre-school classes for sensory-motor ABC classes and pre-handwriting skills, private therapy and assistive technology. They welcome those students with autism, Tourette Syndrome, or other learning differences.

Lindamood-Bell
Lindamood-Bell is an organization dedicated to enhancing human learning. The SMART Institute
The Smart institue offers speech therapy, occupational therapy (including sensory intergration) and physical therapy. Most of the children they treat are ages 6 and under and have various diagnoses such as autism, Down syndrome, etc. They require a referral from a physician (usually PCP or developmental pediatrician) and will check insurance benefits. If therapy will benefit the child, the child usually attends treatment 1-2x per week so specific goals can be met. Phone: (817) 732-7621
